CASE STUDY · OUR OWN PROJECT

How We Optimised mayexa.in for AI Search: AI Readiness Score 72 to 93 in Two Days

Mayexa Technologies' own website went from an AI readiness score of 72.1 to 92.6 between 19 and 21 October 2026. We added authors and dates to every content page, answer-first sections, complete business markup, llms.txt and a 10-page AEO/GEO cluster, and cut the home page HTML from 825 KB to 248 KB.

What was the problem?

On 19 October 2026 we audited mayexa.in with Mayexa's own AI Visibility readiness audit, which crawls up to 200 pages the way AI search tools read them. The site scored 72.1 out of 100. The main gaps were:

  • No named author on 54 content pages and no visible date on 27.
  • Answers buried under headings on 54 of 117 pages, and 19 pages without a direct summary near the top.
  • No llms.txt, Organization markup without a logo or description, and the brand name written differently in page titles.
  • A slow home page (over 3 seconds in the crawl) with 825 KB of HTML.

What did Mayexa Technologies do?

We fixed the causes in the shared page templates rather than page by page, then improved the content, over two days:

  1. Trust signals: a byline ("By Mayexa Editorial Team") and an updated date on every content page, tool and product, with matching author and date markup.
  2. Answer-first templates: question-style headings with a short direct answer under each, on services, courses, tools and listings.
  3. Business markup: complete Organization and LocalBusiness data with logo, address, map location and opening hours; one brand name in every title.
  4. AI access: an llms.txt generated from published pages, and FAQ markup for questions answered on each page.
  5. Speed: the home and contact pages send only the data they show.
  6. Content: a 10-page AEO/GEO cluster (pillar plus 9 guides) written from primary sources.

What were the results?

Two days later, on 21 October 2026, the same audit scored the site 92.6 out of 100.

The audit score is a diagnostic of readiness, not a Google ranking or a guarantee of AI citations. It is too early to report traffic or AI mention changes; we will update this case study with Search Console and analytics data. Still open: linking official brand profiles and adding more sourced data to long articles.

How the results were measured: Mayexa AI Visibility readiness audit of mayexa.in (same 200-page crawl) on 19 and 21 October 2026; home page HTML size measured on the live site.
