How to use Free AI Readiness Audit (AEO & GEO)

  1. Sign in with an email-verified free Mayexa account and review availability and daily limits.
  2. Choose the relevant task in this product workspace. Enter only the public website, page, business or prompt details it requests.
  3. Read the processing disclosure and submit only if the required integration is available. A disconnected provider cannot return live data.
  4. Review the evidence, source and timestamp alongside the explanation. Treat unavailable checks separately from confirmed failures.
  5. Verify proposed changes before applying them. Save a report only when you want it retained with your account.

A practical example

A clinic finds its robots.txt blocks OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot while allowing Googlebot, and that its service pages only show text after JavaScript runs.

How it works

Shared polite crawler (3 concurrent requests) with an answer-engine parser per page; robots.txt evaluation per AI user agent; meta robots and X-Robots-Tag snippet controls; raw-HTML content measurement; weighted pass-rate scoring with a coverage gate.

Limits and assumptions

Crawls up to 200 HTML pages, respects robots.txt, never executes JavaScript and never impersonates AI crawlers; bot access is evaluated from robots.txt with the standard parser. Firewall or CDN blocking of specific bots cannot be seen from outside. Not a measure of actual AI traffic.

Frequently asked questions

What does Free AI Readiness Audit (AEO & GEO) help with?

An AI readiness audit checks whether public content is reachable and understandable, and whether it presents useful answers. Mayexa combines crawler-policy observations, HTML checks and content-structure diagnostics. AEO and GEO remain grounded in helpful content and sound technical SEO rather than a guaranteed special ranking formula.

What should I check before relying on the result?

Mayexa readiness scoring is a diagnostic, not an official score from an AI provider. The proposed llms.txt convention is not a substitute for crawlable pages or an indexing guarantee. Crawls can work without an AI-answer engine, while mention tracking requires a separately connected provider. Those providers are currently disconnected.

Do I need a Mayexa account?

A free email-verified Mayexa account is required. Public explanations remain accessible without signing in. Daily limits apply; unconfigured providers are shown as unavailable.
