What was the problem?
Most free online tools ask you to upload private files or figures to a server, hide their limits, and are hard to use on a phone. We wanted free tools that people can trust with invoices, salaries, photos and PDFs, and that say clearly what they can and cannot do.
What did Mayexa Technologies do?
- Browser-first processing: calculators, image tools, the JSON formatter, the QR and password generators and others run on the user's device; their inputs are never sent to a server, stored or put in URLs.
- One app per tool: each tool has its own rules, test cases, production conditions and change log, so it can be improved or switched off without affecting the others.
- Honest limits: each tool page explains how it works and its limits; tools that need an external service say when it is unavailable instead of failing silently.
- Mobile fixes: 16 px form fields so iPhones do not zoom, larger touch areas, and layouts checked at 360 and 390 px.
- Task pages: pages such as "Compress image to 50KB" and "Home loan EMI calculator" open the tool already set up for that job, with a worked example.
What were the results?
- 42 free tools live in 12 categories, 17 of them fully browser-based.
- 12 task pages for image compression sizes, GST rates and loan EMIs.
- Mobile layout checks pass at 360 and 390 px across the tool pages.
Usage and traffic results will be added once there is enough data. Some tools are limited today, for example server PDF compression is switched off, and their pages say so.
How the results were measured: Live tool catalogue counts on 21 October 2026 and Mayexa's automated mobile layout checks.
