Quick answer: A SIP calculator illustrates how regular contributions might accumulate under an assumed return. Mayexa offers monthly SIP, one-time investment and goal-planning modes. The output follows the assumptions you enter; it does not predict a mutual fund's performance or recommend an investment.

Understand the method before choosing an action

Contribution timing and rate convention affect compounding. Dividing an annual assumed return by twelve is different from converting an effective annual rate to an equivalent monthly rate. Beginning-of-month contributions also have a different compounding period from end-of-month contributions, so compare like-for-like assumptions.

A practical example to work through

With an illustrative contribution of 1,000 units per month for twelve months and a zero return, the contribution total is 12,000 units. Start there, then change the assumed return or add a step-up to see which part of the result changes. If inflation is included, distinguish future nominal value from the estimate expressed in today's purchasing power.

Use the Mayexa workspace

  1. Choose Monthly SIP, One-time investment or Plan a goal.
  2. Enter contribution or goal, existing investment, years and your assumed annual return.
  3. Set optional step-up/inflation and choose the explicit rate convention and contribution timing.
  4. Inspect estimates, alternative return, chart and annual table; copy summary or download TXT/CSV.

Limits, privacy and interpretation

Actual market returns vary and can be negative. A smooth constant-return curve does not model volatility, taxes or fees. Do not interpret the chart as a promised outcome or use it as evidence that one fund will outperform another. Review product documents and your circumstances independently; the calculator keeps scenario inputs local and supplies arithmetic illustrations only.

No Mayexa account is required. Review the workspace's processing labels and limits before entering data.
