Local Keyword Visibility Samples Are Not Google Maps Rankings

Understand keyword-and-location business samples and their limits. Google Places-based visibility sampling is currently unavailable until a provider is configured.

Quick answer: Local keyword visibility sampling asks a configured business-discovery provider for results matching a query and location. A business's position in that returned sample describes the sample only. It is not a verified ranking in Google's consumer search or Maps interface.

Open Local Keyword Visibility Explorer to inspect its current options and availability.

Understand the method before choosing an action

Keep the query, geographic center and retrieval time consistent when comparing samples. Changes can reflect provider behavior or the size of the requested area rather than changes to the business. The absence of a business means not returned in this sample, not that nobody can find it.

A practical example to work through

For a hypothetical search such as dental clinic near a chosen city center, compare only results gathered under the same documented parameters. Record the sample scope before deciding whether to investigate a website or listing issue. Do not relabel a provider position as a guaranteed first-page ranking.

Use the Mayexa workspace

  1. Sign in with an email-verified free Mayexa account and review availability and daily limits.
  2. Choose the relevant task in this product workspace. Enter only the public website, page, business or prompt details it requests.
  3. Read the processing disclosure and submit only if the required integration is available. A disconnected provider cannot return live data.
  4. Review the evidence, source and timestamp alongside the explanation. Treat unavailable checks separately from confirmed failures.
  5. Verify proposed changes before applying them. Save a report only when you want it retained with your account.

Limits, privacy and interpretation

The current live deployment has no Google Places connection, so these samples cannot be collected. A free verified Mayexa account is required when using the product. Private impressions, clicks and actual Google Business Profile performance require separate future integrations and are not estimated from discovery samples.

A free email-verified Mayexa account is required. Public explanations remain accessible without signing in. Daily limits apply; unconfigured providers are shown as unavailable.
